A little update from 'Into the Forest'

The exhibition is still showing until this Thursday until 9pm, so if you haven't visited do pop by and take a look at the artwork!

There are also illustrated handmade products available if you are looking for a gift!

Below is a limited edition card of 10, inspired by my botanical mono printing course, especially for valentines day, also available at the exhibition! (Fancy making your own? Come along to my next workshop at MAKERS on 1st March)

Here are some photographs from my three hour Botanical Mono-printing workshop. I had a wonderful creative group and it was inspiring to see the range of work they produced with the techniques taught, and how they developed their technique throughout the workshop.

Insight into the workshop:

I firstly demonstrate one technique and let the group experiment. I then teach them three more techniques separately and let them play with the new technique. After initial experimentation I encourage the group to experiment with the four techniques however they like. Following on from this the group is given time to use their new skills to make high quality prints to frame, gift tags, cards and wrapping paper to take home with them.

BOOKBINDING WORKSHOP:

Yesterday's bookbinding workshop went well and two happy people walked away with four beautiful recycled and hand stitched booklets.

Check back for updates on Sophie's and Sarah's workshops over the last few days!
